Enclosed Motor Coach Storage planned for Palm Beach County

– A unique idea in the area will offer high-end RV motor coach
owners a place to shelter their expensive, over-sized land yachts; a
condo to keep their “baby”.
Spacious, fully-equipped, secure and air-conditioned RV condo units
will be erected inside a monitored parcel at Haverhill Business Park
on Haverhill Road. Each garage unit will be privately owned and the
facility will be built and sold by Signature Storage, Inc. “The
Company With A Better Idea”.
Owner
and Founder, Tom Rucker says that Signature Storage will offer only
first-class amenities in a coach condominium facility and envisions
building 100 such facilities around the state at select locations to
accommodate the ultra large high-end motor coaches.
“When
your investment in a custom coach can exceed a million dollars, that
investment needs to be securely protected. Why then would you want
to pay rent when you can own this protection and be in a first-class
facility that will only appreciate over time” he said. “These
expensive land-yachts need protection from the Florida elements; the
sun, the heat and the humidity. You can’t get that at existing
facilities in the area,” Rucker said. “And we have engineered the
building to withstand hurricane winds in excess of 140+ mph, should
the owner wish to hangout in the comfort of his coach while in the
safety of his unit, until it blows over.”
Since
launching his plans, he has also been contacted by many high-end
boat owners and specialty-car owners who are seeking protection for
their own large investments. He said some people are also interested
in buying the units as personal hurricane shelters for all of their
valuables, including documents.
Site
plans are being drawn for the erection of the facility containing
40+ units; each being 50-feet deep and 17-feet wide. The site plan
will allow adequate turning space in front of each unit so that a
driver can easily turn around or back their coach into the unit.
Each unit will feature 16-feet high doorways with automatic rollup
doors and 18-feet high ceilings. The facility will also feature a
coded security gate with 24-hour access with cameras covering the
outside of the building; as well security cameras in each unit, if
the owner so desires.
Each
unit will have its own air conditioning unit and heating system; its
own 100-amp electrical service with separate metering to facilitate
any of the coach’s amenities; its own sewage dump station; its own
fresh water metered supply to refill those huge tanks or to clean
their coach with a floor drain so that all water is drained away;
fire protection sprinklers in each unit; carbon monoxide and smoke
sensors; as well an exhaust fan in each unit. A closed circuit TV
monitor can also be installed in each unit, should the owner desire
to peek at his “baby” while on his computer anywhere in the world.
